In the almost 15 years since PAB was founded, we have nurtured many collaborations and some of them will be highlighted this September. We kick off the Performance Month in Møre og Romsdal, more precisely on the island of Skuløya/Flemsøya. Made in collaboration with Longva AiR, Between Sky & Sea VII: Flying Blind will unfold over two weeks. Seven artists will produce work surrounded by nature, and the public will be able to experience these works during the festival day on September 6th.

We then return to Bergen on September 12th, where Culture Night (Kulturnatt) awaits us. PAB is presenting not one, but two events that night. First, an Open Session by the statue of Olav Kyrre, where anyone and everyone is welcome to experiment and improvise with performing in a public space. From there, we take a 10-minute walk to Kunsthall 3,14, where we will encounter the first performances of the project Poetic Silence, a collaboration with the Korean Performance Artists Association. Five artists will perform that night. Two days later, we will go on a stunning hike to Galleri Kronborg, where the second performances of the project will take place.

On September 20th, when artists open the doors to their studios as part of B-Open, PAB will also be present with another Open Session. As soon as the event starts, you will be able to see the performance artists just outside C. Sundts gate 51, experimenting with the open format in a public space.

Last but never least, we head east. We end the Performance Month in Skien, where PAB is hosting a PAB Lokal in collaboration with Spriten Kunsthall on September 27th and 28th. You can expect a whole weekend full of performances by six artists across the Kunsthall’s premises.
